we have some family friends visiting, so we took them to lunch in Old Town Scottsdale. it's a really quaint area with eccentric shops and delicious restaurants. the last picture reminds me of Marianne from True Blood. i am utterly obsessed with that show!!!!

just a quick pic before dinner. you can't really tell from the photos, but the back of the shirt is a sheer material..i got it on sale for $4 at Forever. on another note, in a week, i will be leaving for France; i am studying abroad for the semester. i am getting very excited!! so this week will consist of packing and running all those last minute errands.

i have been looking for a pair over the knee boots for a while now and i finally found these for only $40! I love how the front platform emulates some of Nicholoas Kirkwood's designs. I had fun taking a variety of pictures, trying to capture the whole essence of the boots.

earlier in the day, I wore this striped shirt with some jean shorts and I thought this photo with the dogs was too cute not to put up. Later, I dressed it up with a pair of leather shorts and some Rodarte-esque tights.

Since summer is slowly winding down and transitioning into the cooler days and nights of fall, I have begun searching for the perfect pair of boots. Of course I would die for any designer pair, such as Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Emma Cook, Chloe, Acne, Alexander Wang, the list goes on and on but since I am a poor college student all those are out of my range. So, I decided to find cheaper versions of some of my favorite fall looks. Today I found a few pairs emulating those of Burberry, Alexander Mcqueen, and Martin Margiela.
