last night consisted of some crazy dance parties, whiskey cokes, and Erin Wasson style hair flips. recently i have been pretty much obsessed with anything leopard and i was excited to find these tights in grey. little did i know, they are actually leggings...so i had to wear some socks to keep my feet warm! the weather here has really cooled down and i can say that it is officially fall. i'm loving every minute of it.

it's finally fall here! the temperature hasn't climbed past a crisp 60ish degrees and i love it. i'm so excited to start wearing fall accessories and combining various layers. i snagged this fur vest for only 10 euro at a tiny little store close to my school. it's light weight, yet still keeps me just warm enough...we'll see if that changes in the next few months when the weather really drops.

i would have to say that Halloween is by far my favorite holiday of the year. i am so sad that its not celebrated in France! but when i saw this Harper's Bazaar shoot, inspired by Tim Burton, i couldn't resist. i love the styling throughout all these pictures, as well as the props and the ominous cloudy backdrop.

i know the quality of these photos isn't the best..i only managed to snap a few pics while i was walking to meet up with some friends. i seem to be looking to the left in all these photos, i think i was laughing at the french people who were staring as the camera was flashing. it still hasn't cooled down completely here in Aix, but the night temperatures drop, creating that crisp fall weather, so i was excited to finally be able to wear tights. last night i met up with some friends from school, as well as some french friends...trying to practice my broken french in a noisy night club didn't seem to work out too well...c'est pas grave.

last weekend we took a bus out to the countryside where there was nothing but blue skies, rolling green hills and vineyards. we packed a delicious picnic which consisted of baguettes, cheese, olive tepenade, and of course many bottles of wine. let's just say it was my ideal way to spend a friday afternoon.
